2026 Gubernatorial Platform
💼 Economic Development & Taxation
- Attract businesses with lower taxes, then incrementally decrease to sustain growth.
- Incentivize business headquarters with separate tax reductions.
- Lower/remove taxes for small to medium businesses and individuals earning under $25k (single) or $45k (families).
- Offer 10% first-time homebuyer tax credit.
- Reduce tax liability for food producers.
- Implement cleanup programs with tax incentives.
- Maintain a balanced budget targeting ~$12B state fund in 10 years by cutting regulatory burdens.
- Reduce reliance on federal funding while preserving SNAP/TANF.
- Incentivize employment through assistance programs.
- Upgrade I-5, build a 4-lane Columbia River bridge south of I-205, and replace aging I-5 bridge with Washington collaboration.
🏛 Governance & Transparency
- Restore faith in limited, transparent government.
- Work bipartisanly for Oregon’s collective benefit.
- Audit for fraud, waste, and abuse to ensure a lean budget.
- Defund NGOs not serving citizens.
- Host monthly newsletters, open forums, and online services.
- Visit businesses, town halls, schools, and state facilities monthly.
- Maintain open-door policy for citizens.
- Invite public participation in legislation.
🚓 Public Safety & Community Trust
- Rebuild trust in law enforcement through citizen action committees (CACs) and criminal justice reform.
- Provide training for law enforcement officers (LEOs) and CACs to standardize policies to meet community needs.
- Upgrade rural fire departments with modern equipment and communications.
- Enhance urban safety and security.
🏥 Social Services & Community Welfare
- Provide housing, mental health, addiction support, and telehealth for homeless veterans and others.
- Ensure low-income areas have access to food, medical care, safety, and education.
- Work with community leaders to rebuild impoverished areas, encouraging businesses, medical, and food providers to return, coordinating with CACs and LEOs.
🎓 Education
- Reform education emphasizing practical classroom teaching and essential life skills.
- Set better standards through standardized testing to ensure students meet or exceed federal benchmarks.
- Partner with businesses to teach and train students in STEM and trades, including school-to-work programs.
- Provide specialized schooling that meets student needs and prepares them for life’s challenges.
- Accelerate programs for advanced students entering STEM fields.
🤝 Rural & Urban Unity
- Establish commissions to find partner solutions between rural and urban needs and wants.
- Collaborate with urban, rural, and tribal communities to address all needs.
- Bridge rural-urban divides to ensure every voice is heard.
🌲 Environmental & Natural Resources
- Promote sustainable logging and climate-resilient forest management with ODF, ODFW, USFS, ranchers, farmers, and tribes.
- Maintain a healthy environment initiative.
- Work with businesses to balance their needs while protecting the environment.
- Build partnerships with organizations focused on environmental solutions rather than opposition.

- Restore trust in elections with audits, roll clearing, one-day voting as a paid holiday, secure transportation, and ID requirements.
- Work with federal electoral officials to ensure high standards of election integrity.

- Restore faith in government where inherent rights remain with the people.
- Uphold self-determination in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, limiting state power to delegated rights only.
